WHY!?

Can't I find any cute pants? I went to a ton of stores yesterday looking for some high waisted sailor pants and could not find any. Well, I did find one pair, but I must be in between sizes right now because nothing was fitting. Another problem that I am having is finding dresses that are long enough for me to wear to work. Here goes...

1. I can touch my tongue to me nose...I know that is not very exciting, but there are not very many people that can...I either have a very long tongue or a big nose.

2. I wash my hand a lot! I don't think that it is a problem or anything, but I think that I do it a lot more than normal people.

3. If I could wear flip flops everyday for the rest of my life I would! I do love shoes, but there is nothing more comfy than a good pair of flip flops.

4. When I get a new magazine I have to flip through the whole thing first and then go back and read articles.

5. I read my horoscope at the start of every month and then go back at the end of the month and read it again to see if any of it was true.

6. I can not stand it when people chew with there mouth opened! I think that it is the worst sound in the world! I don't know if that is a quirk as much as a pet peeve, but I thought that I would include it anyways.

My friend was telling me about some dream that she had last night. In her dream she got a dog and named him Kevin. This made me start looking on pet finders and once I did that I wanted 12 new dogs to add to our family! Here are two of them...
There over 10,000 animals on there that need a home, that is sad. I feel like I should do my part and adopt some more animals...my husband disagrees. Darn it! JR

I saw this recent photo of Nicole Kidman...she looks great!! Then again she usually does...there was that horrible silver suit that she wore not to long ago, but anyways. I have to ask, is she really 6 months prego?? It doesn't look like it? It looks like maybe she had a cheeseburger at lunch or something. Where's the baby? (in the same voice as the "Where's the beef" lady...I'm lame.)

I hope that whole day won't be like this morning was!

I have to tell you all about my morning. I got in my car about 7:40 to go to work and it would not start. I called a tow truck, I was going to have it towed to a auto repair place. The tow truck guy, we will call him "Ted," (not sure why, but we will) jumped the car and got it started. Ted told me that I would be able to drive it to the auto repair place..."no problem." Well, I made it to 28th St, which happens to be the busiest St. in GR, and it totally dies. I mean not even the hazards will turn on! So I get out and start pushing, in high heels! Finally, two men come and help me push it into a gas station. A guy from my work brings the van up to the station, jumps my car and I make it to the auto place. I get to work around 10am. After all of that they just called to say that I need a new battery and he is going to charge me some radical amount to put it in. I could have saved myself a whole lot of time and money if I knew that and did it myself. I am in the wrong business!!

One of our sales reps sent us some photos from last weeks furniture market in Highpoint, NC. These are just a few of the pictures that he sent, but it is so exciting for us to see actual furniture with our fabrics on it!!

The Elbow Room

Laura and I went to the Elbow Room last night because they have the best cheese burgers in all of GR. Seriously if you are around the the area you should go there and try one!! It is just a little hole in the wall, but I am telling you!
There is fabric from our company on all of the booths, which makes it even better!

We found this ad in one of our magazines and we thought that it was so weird that we started hanging on each others desk when we left the room. Well, we got Laura this morning and this was her way of getting me back. In case you don't know that is my head on the dancers body. So that is what my hair would look like if I ever wanted to get a bowl cut! You didn't know that I am such a star!

It's funny to me

So I have to tell you a story that I was cracking up about the other night. I went to the gym and jumped on a treadmill. There was a lady next to me, she was wearing jean shorts and a tie died shirt and she had her treadmill set to a 27. incline. She was holding on for dear life and just walking her little heart out. That alone made me smile to see her walking up a mountain, but then she reaches in her cup holder and grabs her can of Grape Faygo Soda. Ha ha That set me over the edge. She must have been new. LOL
Good for her for getting to the gym, but the soda was not even diet. Ha ha

Busy morning

Jenni and I have had a busy morning sorting through piles of color work. Our office is now a disaster and covered in yarns. It is starting to look really great tho. Now we have to narrow it down to about 50 blankets. Darn that is going to be hard!

I heard this morning that Ashlee and Pete are engaged, but really who cares about that? I want to talk about her hair...I am obsessed with it! I love the red, the length and the bangs! I think that 9 times out of 10 when I go to get my hair done I have some photo of Ashlee to show the stylist... That robot (Ashlee) has some good taste when it comes to hair!

Race for the cure

I just registered for the Race for the Cure today! It is a 5k in downtown Detroit on May 31st. I am super excited about it! I have never done anything like this in my life so it should be pretty interesting. ha ha. I have been hitting the gym on a regular basis lately (at least 3 days a week). So it should not be THAT hard to get in to the swing of things. In fact, I went tonight and did 3.5 miles and it took me about 40 mins...so it can't get worse right?
I joined the team that my friend Lisa and her family started in honor of her aunt Colleen. If you want to donate to a good cause here is the link! Or maybe I will see you there?
